FRANCIS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
San Francisco, CA
From
emergency to outpatient services, the St. Francis Memorial
Hospital meets the needs of the community with a full
spectrum of care. ZFA provided structural engineering
services to several departments including alterations
to the existing surgery department, expansion of the
laboratory and reception areas, and a newly created,
1,700 square feet, Hyperbaric Department.

SANTA
ROSA AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER
Santa Rosa, CA
The
Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center
is used for outpatient surgeries as an alternative to
Memorial Hospital. This two-story 25,000 square foot
facility is equipped with five operating rooms and a
covered drop off/pick-up area. The
building is supported by a structural steel frame and
is located within a kilometer of the Healdsburg Rogers
Creek fault, requiring the most restrictive lateral
force design prescribed by the 1997 UBC.

HOSPITAL
Fremont, CA
The
Washington Hospital provides numerous healthcare services
in addition to its hospital based services and has steadily
grown in response to the expanding population of Southern
Alameda County. Our work has included the installation
of the Conrad E. Anderson, M.D. Conference Center, the
11,200 square feet conversion of the existing Professional
Resources Department and part of the Patient Accounting
Department in the Main Hospital into a new Executive Administrative
office suite, and the renovation and addition to the east
end of the existing main hospital first floor emergency
department. |

HIGHLAND
HOSPITAL
Oakland, CA
Seismic
evaluation, repair and retrofit. Built in 1923, the
Boiler Building is a single-story concrete structure
designed to house steam boilers. The building has a
mezzanine level and is marked by exterior terra cotta
ornamentation.

SETON MEDICAL CENTER
Daly City, CA
The 357-bed facility offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and specialty programs, including cardiovascular, spine care, orthopedics, and oncology. ZFA performed the preliminary seismic evaluation for compliance to Senate Bill 1953, Surgery department remodels, Gastro lab and Human Resources department renovations, and various equipment anchorage and replacement projects throughout the hospital. |
