Department of Veterans Affairs, Outpatient Clinic

Santa Rosa | California

Tenant improvements were needed for this 24,000 square foot medical clinic. The structural scope of work included: assisting the Architect with interior framing details, anchorage of the following equipment: radiology equipment (GE Essenta DR or similar), two audiology booths recessed into the slab, four dental chairs, four wall-mounted dental x-ray units, one dental panoramic x-ray unit, physical therapy equipment, and a computer server rack. In addition, ZFA coordinated the mechanical/electrical anchorage. The 5″ concrete first-floor slab-on-grade was in place as a part of the shell and core, therefore the TI scope of work incorporated saw cutting and repair as required for equipment anchorage and plumbing. Cost was $3.5 million.
