This school was built in accordance with the California High Performance Schools Initiative (CHPS) to be an energy-efficient, sustainable public school. Energy saving cooling towers and radiant slabs were incorporated into the structural design. Spanning 81,000 square feet, the campus includes administration, multi-use, and media/library buildings, in addition to several classrooms. Cost of construction was $28 million.
