Luther Burbank Savings
Santa Rosa | California
This project consists of a 9,000 square foot remodeled two-story commercial space. The existing building was concrete masonry (CMU) and wood mezzanine with typical 1970’s mansard wood roof aesthetics. New construction included a flat roof, structural steel frames, light gage steel framing, salvaged wide-flange steel beams, re-used CMU walls, and stone and metal site work. The building received a complete transformation into an urban statement contributing to a revitalized downtown with tall thin walls, sunscreens, and rich “Parklex” rain screen. City of Santa Rosa sustainability requirements were implemented. Construction included review of the 3D model and cost was $2.67 million.
