Napa Fire Station No. 4

Napa | California

At 7,380 square feet, this fire station features a bowstring-type roof truss. The project includes a small utility building, a generator/trash area, an entry structure and a fenced courtyard/patio area. The apparatus bay is directly connected to small administration portions of the fire station and the stiffness compatibility issues were addressed by using low roof connections attached to specially designed roof truss columns. Construction cost was approximately $5 million.
