Gregory P. Zucco
Over his forty-year career, Greg Zucco built an extensive, cross-disciplinary project portfolio, focusing upon the engineering design, dynamic analysis, engineering, and construction review of public, educational, commercial, and industrial facilities. Greg brought sophisticated design and analysis to the North Bay Area and was instrumental in the design of countless award-winning and innovative structures. Early computer technology was Greg’s tool of the trade, and he relished using his higher level education whenever he could to maximize project performance, such as when he developed a thin-wall winery tank design.
Among his long list of major projects are the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility, Dominus Winery, Artessa Winery, the Buddhist Odiyan Stupa temple, several high schools, a junior college campus, many high-tech office buildings, and numerous other wineries and commercial structures. Greg had a lasting reputation for having the exceptionally sharp analytical skills required to efficiently devise resourceful solutions while preserving a project’s architectural integrity. It was this reputation upon which the core company values of quality and service were founded.
ZFA thanks Greg for his contributions in building the best structural engineering firm in the North Bay Area. He consults unofficially on occasion, but we haven’t figured out a way to bring him back…yet.
“My most rewarding accomplishment was creating a firm with a reputation for handling the most complex projects in the region.” – Greg Zucco
