With expertise in structural design and analysis, Kevin designs public, essential service, commercial, hospitality, and historic facilities throughout Northern California. He collaborates to design buildable and resilient structures that integrate seamlessly with architectural design features.

Highlights:

    • Adept use of the California Existing Building Code, the California Historic Building Code, and ASCE 41 Seismic Standard for Existing Buildings
    • Expertise in the Essential Service Act of 1986, including both structural and non-structural elements
    • Strong commitment to sustainable and resilient solutions, exemplified by expertise designing rammed earth walls, insulated concrete, and structural insulated panels (SIP), as well as his LEED accreditation

With a keen interest in public safety, Kevin has supported ongoing on-call contracts with city, county, and private entities for decades. Clients rely on his knowledge and experience for planning and design of public facilities and structures. Industry recognitions include published articles in STRUCTURE Magazine, as well as multiple design awards.

Interests
Kevin loves being active in the outdoors, with interests in cycling, snow skiing, water skiing, mountaineering, and of course all sports with his kids when he can keep up. A strong sense of family resonates with him as a third-generation engineer.
