Luke is focused on providing high-quality service and project management to his clients. His approach to each project combines a desire to achieve the design intent while providing an efficient structural design. He is always up for a challenge and enjoys finding elegant structural solutions on projects large and small.

Luke has worked on a wide variety of projects covering most the firm’s business sectors, but his current focus is toward building upon the firm’s heritage in the wine industry and continuing to expand the firm’s experience in the essential services/public sector.

    • Excels in project and team coordination, including the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) between disciplines
    • Committed to fostering and maintaining a positive firm culture and an enjoyable office environment

Prior to joining ZFA, Luke worked for CAL Fire as a firefighter for six seasons, including a season on Howard Forest Helitack. This experience has given him a unique insight into the design and use of essential services projects.

With this community service background, Luke was heavily involved with ZFA’s emergency response efforts and community outreach after the 2014 Napa Earthquake and the 2017 Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino County Fire Storms.
