Broadway Storage

Category: Work
Sacramento, CA

This new 132,000 square-foot, mixed-use project consists of a four-story self-storage building that includes a residential unit and retail space at the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is a drive-through breezeway and covered parking. The most notable exterior feature is the large red Broadway sign that can be seen from Highway 50. This mixed-use development is a key project for the revitalization of the west end of the historic city district of Sacramento, along Broadway Avenue. The entry on 3rd and X Street has a two-story, site-cast concrete façade to create a vintage look similar to older buildings constructed in the area. The building receives high visibility due to its close proximity to the connection of two major highways.
