This project includes the extensive renovation, strengthening, and adaptive reuse of an existing 130,000 square foot storage facility into an active family-oriented sports and recreation facility. This destination now hosts numerous activities including an adult gaming and bar, laser tag arena, 7D theater, four sports fields, weight room, rock climbing gym, ropes course, toddler world, and a 16 lane luxury bowling alley.
The increase in occupancy to a Risk Category III building required a full seismic retrofit to the structure, which consisted of tilt-up concrete walls and a wood and steel roof.
