Robin applies her expertise in structural design and engineering primarily to K-12 and community college educational facilities. Her portfolio includes hundreds of modernizations and seismic rehabilitations of existing facilities, as well as new buildings featuring classrooms, administration offices, performing arts buildings, libraries, and gymnasiums. She excels in collaborating with architects to provide creative, responsive, and economical structural designs for these specialized facilities.

Highlights:

    • Collaborated on a state-wide effort to identify seismically vulnerable educational facilities using state-of-the-art assessment and analysis tools
    • Served as a plan review consultant for the Division of the State Architect (DSA), bringing a broad understanding of detailed code requirements for public schools
    • Developed in-house design and drafting standards that have enabled ZFA to produce consistently high-quality construction documents

Robin has recently taken on a principal emeritus role at ZFA, using her decades of experience to provide comprehensive project coordination and quality review services, working to maintain high standards for ZFA’s construction documents.
