Chris Warner, SE


Chris has successfully led projects in a wide range of sectors, including industrial, winery, public, commercial, and education since joining ZFA in 1997. His work includes seismic evaluations, facility assessments, modernizations, and new construction.


    • Maintains a broad understanding of the Division of the State Architect’s (DSA) policies, practices, and staff, and provides Structural Plan Review services for the DSA Sacramento and Oakland offices
    • Works extensively with manufacturers of industrial equipment to develop efficient designs for factory settings
    • Acts as ZFA’s in-house expert on power generation projects

Known for his attention to detail and understanding of code requirements, Chris is an asset to not only ZFA’s projects, but also to those he peer reviews. Chris is also adept at using this expertise to implement new and unusual products and methods for the design of projects that require a unique approach.
